"Mischievious Base Exploding Behind Innocent Observer" Original Painting

(6.25 x 11") (15.87 x 27.94cm) Original acrylic painting with a 0.5" (1.27cm) border on Canson Aquarelle 140lb 300g archival cold-press paper. This piece is an unreleased concept designed as a video thumbnail for the YouTuber and content creator Welyn, based on the style of the video game Rust by Facepunch Studios. It was completed using Posca Paint Pens, Copic Alcohol Ink Markers, and Pencil.  The figure in the composition ended up coming out as an almost subconscious portrait on the author himself.  One of my favorite details of this illustration is the depiction of light from the explosion on the hair of the character.
