Since a young age I have used creativity as an avenue for escapism from mundanity, as a medium for the manifestation of abstract expression, and a mechanism for understanding/connecting with the surrounding world. These habits have increasingly diffused into my professional and personal life in various forms as I started to discover that a creative mindset could be applied to any task or situation. 

From doodling in classes to sketching in office meetings, I have intuitively leaned on illustration and design as a creative outlet for a burgeoning imagination, and a vessel for mental stimulation.  This interest led to a key moment in my professional development through an opportunity designing and hand-painting thumbnails for a friend and content creator on YouTube.  As this partnership grew, I found that I was becoming more invested in this part-time role than I was in my full-time career in IT sales.

Instead of remaining within a lucrative career/industry, I decided to invest my time and resources into studying design, refining my technical skills as an illustrator, and building a portfolio.  I have now been professionally designing thumbnail concepts for 5 years.  During that time I have also designed logos, book cover art, mix-tape covers, murals, and live-painted for festivals/events.

I believe that the growth of online media platforms/commerce offers artisans and professionals increased opportunities for creative collaboration. These partnerships allow creators to stand out from competitors, tell stories that increase audience engagement, and form memorable community experiences. 

The work I'm producing now utilizes vibrant colors and unique design to capture attention, evoke emotions, and spark the imagination!
